My son has squamous cell carcinoma in his cecum that has spread to his liver. Apparenty there are 7 spots and it is on both sides what ever that means. We have been told it cant be cured. Is that true?

Squamous cell carcinoma of the colon is a rare disease, and as much as I would like to give you my opinion, I cannot because I have limited information at this time. Certainly, metastatic disease is a difficult disease. It cannot be cured. Regarding possible treatments, I would suggest a comprehensive second opinion to explore whether there are any additional therapies that might be available.
