I was given a liver transplant team, and now they tell me I can’t have a liver because unfortunately I had to go homeless and they said that they would put me on the list when I get a clean, safe place to live, but then yesterday I went for my first chemotherapy and the oncologist told me that they won’t give me a liver until 5 years after my last cancer because I had renal cell carcinoma and a nephrectomy done a little over a year ago. But my prognosis is only around 2 years and then I die because the cancer is growing kind of quick and he said that if the chemotherapy doesn’t work then there is a good chance I will die around two years. Second opinion please.

Thank you for sharing your concerns with us about your case
I am guessing that you have liver cancer as well. What your oncologist said makes sense because this is the standard of care.
However, to make a full assessment and a detailed second opinion, we will need all your records.
