Hello! About three months ago I’ve noticed left part of my left breast was red and blue. I went to a doctor to our local Health Center and I was examined by two doctors. They said that they felt something and send me to a Castle Hill Clinic. I was really worried for those two waiting weeks as I read information over the internet . I had special examination which showed that I did not have a cancer. I am happy about it very much of course. But my breast is still blue as time goes by and I wonder what to do. Please help me.

Thank you very much for contacting us with your concerns regarding breast blueness.
The presence of blue skin discoloration indicates blood under the skin, which can be due to either a trauma, a blood disorder, blood thinner medications, or some vascular disease. Chances are this is a benign thing that will go away but your doctors should be able to help more depending on how it looks like.
If you want to, you can send us a picture and one of our oncologists can provide advice if this is something you should investigate further or not. To do so please visit this link and fill in the form.
Sorry again to hear about your diagnosis and I hope this helped.
