I am assuming that the lung cancer is metastatic in nature and she might be too weak to receive treatment. There are many different aspects to the answer and to whether any options are available such as the type of tumor, the extent of the disease, the age among others. I try to answer as many questions as I can, however in your case, I would honestly suggest obtaining a formal second opinion from a lung cancer expert, whether from Cancerdocs or another source. This will ensure that no details are missed and that you are getting the best advice.
Sorry again to hear about your sister.
