Indeed, people can get heart cancers. Over 75 percent of primary cardiac tumors are benign, usually called myxomas, 15 % are malignant, usually sarcomas (or cancer of the heart muscle). Then there are tumors that can be either benign or malignant such as paragangliomas or mesotheliomas.
