Recently xray showed a small spot in my left lung. My Doctor added a Iron supplement to my list of meds. Should I be concerned?

Thank you very much for sharing your concerns about the spot that was recently discovered on the lung.
First, if indeed they saw a suspicious nodule on your lung, a CT scan is needed to look into it further. An X-ray is not enough.
Second, for the iron, I do not know why you have been prescribed iron without further evaluation. Iron deficiency anemia in men should be evaluated prior to the initiation of iron supplementation.
